I had my 4th fill yesterday, & it always is easy. They numb the area first so I'm good. I'm also afraid of needles, ironic because i have tattoos, lol. You'll do fine, good luck....

finally got my approval after 3 long weeks, so much is going through my mind.... now just need two more test done & will set the date!

Nov 30th 2012, my start weight was 289, the day of surgery 277, as of this morning, 258.... i stalled for like 2 wks but i didn't fret.... i have had 1 fill & am due for another 1 at the end of this week....

what use to work for you before? maybe try something new? I'm newly banded & at 1st i was like "whooo hooo, this is easy" til i got bored, real quick. so, gettin this far is a big accomplishment for you. plus, it just hit me, I'm in bandster h***.... what i did to get out the funk, for exercise, i walk the outlet stores.... just stopping for a moment & thinkin, soon, I'll be shopping in this store & 1 day I'll be able to shop that store.... next thing i know i walked that whole place & it's big! as for food, i went to the library & checked put lots of their cook books & have been tryin different stuff to give my taste buds some life again.... hungry girl is a good one.... i don't know if this helps, but don't beat yourself up, think of it as a wake up call, you caught yourself & now you can pick yourself up & get it i don't gear.... good luck to you!!!!

I'm at the beginning of my journey & already love it. it hasn't really been so tough for me, thank god. but i too felt the way you did. now, my only regret was i should have done it sooner! as long as you follow dr's orders you should be fine. one thing i do know, only do it if your ready, i remember being in the prep room & thinking what am i doing, next thing i knew they gave me something to relax and i woke up in recovery with the Dr talking to me.... my 1st night I'm glad they kept me for observation cuz if i needed help they were awesome with even the little stuff like fluffing my pillows & ice chips and pain meds.... i wish you luck with whatever you decide, good luck and god bless ~_~

i have 1/2 cup containers & make tuna, chicken, egg salad and that way their ready to grab & go. also, if I'm out & about, i pop a tuna kit into my purse so that I'm not tempted to eat out or if I'm on the road.... the kits are great cuz they won't go bad if it's in your purse for a few hrs or even longer, hope this helps, oh, they also have chicken salad kits, good luck....

hmmm, idk, but if u are still unsure or feeling uncomfortable, u should call your Dr to ease your mind.... hopefully it isn't a slip.... hope u feel better soon....

now that i know what everyone means by nsv, lol, i finally reached one! i have a pair of jeans (just 1) that i could barely fit in, would have to lay down to zip up. now, i can just pull them down cuz their so big, lol.... also, the wheel doesn't rub my belly while driving, i think that is the best part....

maybe from eating too much may have caused irritation causing swelling.... maybe try liquids for 24hrs and see if that helps, good luck....

starting weight: 289 surgery date: 11/30/2012 weight: 277 present weight: 265 i gave up bread & pasta, those were my weakness....

awe, don't get discouraged.... i went through the same thing & ended up gaining 11 lbs more because i got so discouraged, then i felt worse when i got approval cuz of the weight gain. then everything went so quickly i couldn't even wrap my mind around the whole thing! lol, I'm 10 days post-op & feeling pretty good now.... good luck to you & keep your head up....

my diet consist of 1/2 cup up to 1 cup but i keep in under 3/4 just so i won't over due it. the nice thing is when i was only eating 1/2 cup, i was still hungry but just that little extra has helped keep me satisfied for 3-5 hrs.... now to just keep myself on track with exercise.... i also noticed what i eat makes a difference in how long I'm satisfied....

i too was banded on the same day and am able to eat and have no restriction. i think cuz everyone is different.... hopefully I'll get a fill soon.... good luck....

oooo, so glad i found your question. i too feel this way, not losing but not gaining. I'm scheduled for a follow up on the 21st & i feel a little bummed, but not worried cuz I'm still in the healing process.... good luck to you ~_~

mine said 15 days, tomorrow is day 16 & I'm heading to the pool!!!!

i was also banded on 11/30 & haven't lost much. honestly, my concern is with healing, plus my Dr said 1-2 lbs per week.... I'm sure it'll get better, good luck....

got my surgery time, Friday at 8:00a.m. so nervous cuz it's happening yet I'm so ready.... anyone else getting banded Nov 30th?

that is crazy but i just trust that the Dr knows what he's doing. i wonder if i should take my husband with me to my 1st appt. just as a precaution....

hmmm, that doesn't sound good, u not being hungry at all.... me, i feel it every few hrs but I'm hanging in there.... i think I'll be fine til my appt. i was reading about how some people get light headed and even pass out when getting a fill, have you heard of anything like this before?
