So Sore

I am 18 days post op Today I went for an hour drive, and was so excited to fit in a smaller pair of jeans. I am now so sore at my port site. I have been sore like this before... Day 4 or 5. Is this normal???

Your port may hurt for a few months I think mine hurt about three months

Everyone heals differently. I have had zero surgery pain since I walked out of the surgery. The only pain I have had is shoulder gas pain........that is it........I consider myself very lucky.

I had no pain either. Went shopping a few hours after surgery and felt great but a little tired. The gas pains werent bad so I didnt even need a heating pad.
