Thank you! I am determined to break 190 and I am now reading all labels and counting sugars. Since I have erratic insulin issues and I am on Metformin, Sugar is quite the enemy. I have a new hop in my step and this is just a hiccup!

I had my surgery dec 17th and Christmas was a blur as far as holiday food. I was recuperating and not hungry at all. Now it has been 12 weeks and I am down 34 pounds and feel great. I have 5 cc in a 10 cc band. Thankful for the chance to change my life and look forward to achieving my goal of 60 pound loss. Yea!!! Good luck everyone! This is the best thing I have ever done!

Yay! Got my 2nd fill Monday 3/18/13 and today I am down 4 lbs. I am thrilled that the scale moved. I am continuing to measure my meals and constantly carrying a bottle of water. Increased my walking 30 mins tonight.

I'm set for December 17th! Right now I go from eating really bad' date=' since I won't be able to later, to thinking I should already be trying to shrink my liver. I'm trying to learn everything I can.[/quote']

How is your weight loss going? We got banded on the same day and I'm curious to know if your having better luck with your weight loss than me?

Mine is slowing down, as expected! I'm trying to do a 4 pound a month loss. How are you doing?

I'm down 39 pounds and it is really slowing down. I lost 2 pounds last month :/ I only have 2 ccs in my band so far. It seems to adjust itself.

PBT, keep going, you will have stalls. Don't get discourages. Just make sure you are eating right and exercising. It will catch up to you. Doesn't mean you need a fill. Sometimes people change it up to get it started again by changing what or when you eat and your exercise, try a different routine.

I'm down 95 lbs since Jan 2012. Mine is starting to slow down as expected. I'm hoping to be at goal by the end of the year. GL LBT pals!

I am down 75 since I started but hit summer and stopped....HELP!!!

  • 2 weeks later...

I am only down 37lbs since Dec 2012.... its slow.. I also only loss 2 lbs last month.

It's a slow process for me as we'll. I'm down 52 lbs pre and post op. sometimes I get frustrated but when I think about the highest weight I ever was at I'm happy with what I have accomplished.

I'm down 47 pounds since December. Its been a slow process but I've never been able to lose this much weight before. And I'm not really exercising. 10 more pounds and I'll be in onederland. :) Overall I'm really glad I have my band!

Thanks everyone was feeling alone in this slow process.

Banded December 17th last year ~ 3 days until 7 months post op! Down 103 lbs, had one fill back in January...I didn't do a pre op diet..hope everyone is well :)

I've lost 74 with no pre op diet and had 4 fills in a 9 ml band every one is different we all started at different weights I've struggled to accept my band I didn't want to give up chocolate and sugar as soon as I did the weight started to come off I've gone weeks with no loss and even put some on its not a race the slower you loose it you have less chance of loose skin
