Protein supplements
I drink Premier Protein from Costco. Chocolate is the best one. My husband, who is not banded and LOVES chocolate milk, drinks them too and he really enjoys them. I catch him sneaking them every once in a while. c:

Devastated
I'm so sorry to hear that! I know when I was finally approved and was setting up my surgery, I was told my portion of surgery would be $250 - after I was approved and was actually scheduling surgery they called and told me my portion was almost $3000 - I was totally shocked and immediately in tears! Fortunately they helped me with financing and I had the band placed on Dec 21, 2012! I know right now it seems like it won't happen. But where there is a will, there is a way. Stay positive and keep the faith! I had actually wanted the band placed since 2001...so if you want it - keep fighting for it! Good luck and keep us posted!

Frustrations with band
I've been wondering the same thing - I'd like to hear what everyone else has to say about this.

Hungry and frustrated!!
I've noticed this with myself! I am able to eat (and keep down) carbs and starches, but meats and some veggies get stuck - BAD! Worst pain ever! I've also noticed that when I'm having to throw up - all that is coming out is phlem (snot). It's almost like it is covering my stoma and making it harder to swallow the denser foods. I've started taking an alergy pill, musinex & sudifed - to try and rid my body of this irritation. As far as still being hungry when eating Protein - I've started drinking Water with Crystal Light in it - and it is helping ALOT! I drink around 100 oz of water or more a day.

RunKeeper
It's a fitness app. You can track your time, distance, set goals, etc. I just started using it today - it's really neat! I found it in the Google Play Store on my Android phone. Want to join with me?

I'm sore today, I have a cramp in my side & my left shoulder is starting to hurt. I went for a walk - that just made me more thirsty. I can't get enough Water...and I'm afraid to drink too fast, for fear I'll stretch out my pouch.

Desotogirl, when is your surgery?- December Bandwagon Supporters
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I had surgery, I just don't want ppl to judge me & talk about me behind my back. Which they probably will regardless...but whatever.- December Bandwagon Supporters
I didn't want a lot of ppl to know either...it kinda bothers me that my mom told all of her friends. I should have told her I didn't want many to know...my fault, I guess. - MyFitnessPal.com Members
