congrats!!! Don't be surprised if you have that "omg, what am I about to do" moment that many of us have. It will pass and the rewards will be amazing!

i too just got approval from my insurance :-) i need my egd & abdominal & blood work.... was told as soon as i got clearance i would be given a date.... so many wild emotions, but at the end of it all, i know this is right.... good luck on your new journey....

I got approved Friday, got my 2 week diet, have labs and xrays tomorrow, dr. appt thursday, and my surgery on the 25th. Its going quick, but felt like forever before my approval. I am excited. I too was told the diet is to reduce liver size.

I went to the information session the last Saturday in August, so it hasn't taken long at all for me. I took all the first avail appts no matter what time, and that has made it go super fast. I was hoping to get it done this year, and now it is looking like early November. So exciting!
