Congratulations on the weight loss.Sometimes those scales are our worst enemy. I have been known to be the ole slave to the scale as well. I am new here and been reading various posts. Looking forward to seeing your continued progress.

Hi Marybell my insurance provider is Cigna.I would suggest checking out GE Credit also.I used them a few years back interest free if paid on time. @Newme Thanks !! Have you had surgery yet? I am excited once I finally made the decision to pursue this. Just wish they could do it tomorrow!!!

I went to my first seminar a few weeks ago. I had done alot of research on gastric banding and pretty much had my mind made up before I went. Before I went to the seminar I called my insurance provider and was told the surgery would be covered by at least 80% and possibly 100 depending on what my doctors say. I will be meeting with the dietician and financial / patient advocate on October 15, 2012. I am looking forward to following everyone else’s success as I await my own.
