I'm Banded!!!

It's done. I'm officially banded as of yesterday. The pain hasn't been that bad. Surgery went smoothly and I'm a little sore. So, my question is what happens now? When do you start feeling like yourself? When do the fills start? So ready to get this weight off but we're going to do this the healthy way.

I definitely will. I felt that way thursday. Very surreal experience. Let us know how you're feeling as well. Good Luck!

The day after was much better than the day of, I was banded Thursday Oct 4. Today though, I've had bad indigestion all day long. Gas X no longer helps and it's the only hell I'm feeling. It's like hunger pains and indigestion all at the same time. Idk what to do to get relief. :-( I hope to feel better by Monday, I'm going back to work and school then.

I decided to take the week off. My job is stressful enough without being in pain on too. Hope you feel better soon.

Congratulations!!! Glad everything went well!

What happens now is, you follow your Drs. orders. Give yourself time to heal.

Best wishes to you!

super jealous im still doing the process of approval! keep us updated :)

My doc won't give me my first fill until 6 weeks postop. I think that's about the norm.

Glad all went well. U should be feeling pretty good after about a week as far as soreness. Just take it easy, drink slow, walk
