What Do You Do When You're Super-Thirsty?

I came home from a long day at work really, really thirsty. It's not diabetes-related... just thirsty I tried eating some ice chips and sipping water, but I want to just chug a big glass of water SO BADLY! Has this happened to anyone else since you got banded? How did you get relief?

Well, to be honest, I just chug water when I'm super thirsty. I've never had any problems taking big gulps.

  • Ah! Much better. LOL

  • I also chug water, but I am not tight either. Some people can and some cannot. I have had the feeling at times of "filling up," so to speak.

I wish there was a "LOVE THIS" option. I'm ready to chug and deal with consequences at this point. Thank you.

I worry about this post-op, but my Dr said it wouldn't be a problem. Good to hear Mis73 can do it!!

Clearly I'm still an inexperienced banded (and have not had my first fill either), but I sortable chug water. No problems whatsoever... yet!??

I chug water all the time. I try to take small drinks but that doesn't satisfy my thirst. So I take big drinks :) Never had a problem though.
