the liquid made me drowsey and i was able to rest better

other than that, i was fine. def came in handy those 5 days my left shoulder hurt.

hope this helps. :)

Actually it made me very sleepy and a little high, lol but it is a great medicine for after surgery pain, if you use it as directed you should be fine.....what I done is after five or six days I stopped it and took liquid acetaminophen and it helped, I was worried about addiction, but only taking it for a week or two isn't going to hurt you.

Thank you all for your reply I told my husband about your side effects and he said he will sacrafise and try it first to make sure I'll be fine lol !!

I had no side effects...it did help with pain management as it is designed to do. I minimized my time using it though, only for 1.5 days post op...not concerned about addiction issues, but it does slow the workings of your "insides down"...so I only use opiates when I really need them.

After 1.5 days post op, liquid acetaminophen was all I needed to be comfortable and pain free.

Best wishes...

Made me nauseous but then again all pain meds like that make me nauseous.

Thank you all !!

Made me nauseous too, and taste worse than cough syrup. (I'm a lifetime asthmatic; I have tasted some nasty meds, but the Lortab was extra bleech!)

I took one dose in the hospital, made me so nauseous I didn't even get the script filled. I used children's liquid Tylenol.
