Hi everyone! I'm new here. I recently decided that weight loss surgery is the best choice for me. In my Quest in finding as much as info as possible I came across this forum. Everyone seems so nice and positive as well as full of information.

I recently contacted a surgeon who mailed me a questionerre I had to fill out and they will contact me with an appointment once the doctor has looked over my info. It feels like its taking forever! I just want to get the ball rolling.

I look forward to hearing everyone's story.

I too recently decided to go this route - I had my first appointment yesterday. I am totally excited!! I cannot wait until Dec!!

I'm at the end of my 6mths insurance required diet and hope to be banded in Sept. Been following LBT all that time and feel I have gotten a great education. Good Luck!

Welcome! I'm new too! Today is the first day of my Pre-Op Diet and I am feeling hopeful! Also, check out Missy's profile who posted right above me! VERY inspirational! She has lost 136 pounds since January! OMGooooodness......That is AwEsOmE!!

I've "met" some really wonderful and insightful people on this website - I'm very grateful for their inspiration and encouragement and I have set an intention to be as much of a blessing to others, as I learn and experience more and am able to share any words of wisdom.
