I wasnt given a breather and I am not sure if its the same thing yo are having but I was banded on the 25th and am still having sharp pains too from my diaphram spasms... maybe this is it. kinda makes it hard to get a deep breath, and especially when i have been laying down... its like my ribs ache and then the spasms start... thought at first something may be wrong with my bend... but when I rub it, it helps. It will happen on and off throughout the day too, almost like I have to burp... but get nothing? I am told this is normal, so I hope this helps, and for both our sake I pray this passes quickly! Best of luck to you. I am soo excited for you... keep in touch and keep us updated k :)

If you have no sudden temp rise or bad smell coming from your incision, you should be okay. Call your surgeon with any questions! Best wishes for a smooth healing process, get up and walk!!!!
