I saw my dietician and weight loss center nurse today. One week until surgery and I'm starting to get nervous. I'm super excited though. I've lost 30 pounds since May and can't wait to lose more!!!! Good luck August Bander's!!

Wow 30lb that's so great! I've lost 20 and were band-day buddies. Hoping in a week well both still be smiling!!! Good luck to us!!! Can't believe it's only a week away.

Good luck to Aug 09 members and prayers for a speedy recovery. Keep the Faith. You will be recovering like myself before you know.

Last doctor visit today and 6 days til my surgery august 14th can't come any sooner best of luck to everyone here!

Aug 20!!!!!

Back from the otherwise I'm officially banded! A little sore but no issues keeping liquids down thus far. Going to just keep taking it slow. Thanks for all the well wishes! Best of luck to those going today and the rest of the month. What a journey we are on!

Remember, your old brain will want water to drink, but try and sip the water rather than down the hatch. Let your stomach slowly get into any intake after the band. It won't bother you as much doing this way. Im on my 3rd day post op and I'm doing good. I drove my car day after surgery and some on Wed. Still no hunger pains at all and I have to force myself to drink all the fluids.
