I want to say this site has been very helpful! I haven't felt so alone in this process. Please keep posting because you never know who needs to hear what you have to say. I was just approved and pre-op diet starts July 28th. I am so excited! I lost 100 lbs. by myself but I can't get passed that point. I felt this will be the tool to help me get to where I need to be. Thanks again for posting because it has been a great source of encouragement.

Congrats! I'm just one week ahead of you. I'm excited to start feeling better and being able to keep up with my kids!!!

CMK, I totally understand! I want to be able to run a mile without stopping. I guess that sounds weird but it's just something I want for me:) Only have one teenager left at home and I can't wait to make the most out of it. No more mom is too tired or mom doesn't feel like it!

I want to try and work up to running, not sure how that will go! I have an 8 and soon to be 10yr olds. They have never said anything about my weight and I'm sure they never would but I don't want to embarrass them when they have school functions.
