What Should I Be Feeling? Post Op Day 3

Today I woke up sore, but able to move around, slowly. I haven't taken pain meds since yesterday afternoon. I feel like my port site is rock hard. When I drink sips, I can feel it gliding down, and it kinda burns down my back like heartburn. I'm tolerating more fluids so far today. I did have an episode of vomiting yesterday morning. When I breath in, my muscles are sore, like when you are sick and coughing a lot.

I feel like a lot of people say they are feeling good by now and I seem to be healing slower. Are these normal sensations for this timeframe? Should I be worried that I threw up that one time?

ETA: I'm burping....a lot!

I just had surgery on the 26th and I still feel very sore. My throat has been hurting and it hurts to swallow. I am a stomach sleeper so I've been using a pillow to keep from rolling onto my stomach during the night. Most of my pain is underneath my rib cage on the left side.. and when I move a certain way it feels like I can feel my stomach move.. very weird..

Milk of mag is all I have to say I took some and pain and gas and burping where gone something about that first poo and all that gas. The pain was less in my port area and my stomach went down a lot
