Do u regret ur decision? BC at this point I kind of do

I felt horrible day 2. Regrets, just not feeling right. I had very little pain which I could've cared less about. It was all the other feelings, nausea, anxiety, lump in my throat, gas. Today is day 5 and I feel pretty great. It will get better. Hang in there!

I had mine on June 13, so we are basically in the same boat! Yes, currently I feel horrible, I keep thinking whyyyy?? and why isnt it getting easier quicker. But all things take time. Can't do anything about it now, so I keep trying to look at the future and just take it day by day. I am one day ahead of you and believe me day 2 IS THE WORST!

Honestly, it probably took me 8 or so days. Just periodic feelings of regret, anxiety, "OMG what have I done", random pains, etc. Post-op was much more painful and challenging than I anticipated. I was banded 5/30 and overall feel MUCH better mentally and physically. Hang in there and go easy on yourself. :-)

Yea...I agree I don't regret it BC I have to change my life style n not eat what I use to....that's not it....I actually look forward to having more control over what I eat...I regret it BC my pain is so uncomfortable that my sis havr to.watch my 1 year old....I don't even want.to pick her up or tend to her n that makes me sad

Boy am I glad I found yall. I was banded on June 13th - right in there with you. Today is first day back to work. Not good at all - totally agree on the "What have I done?" I didn't expect recovery to be this way either. Lump in throat is the worst. and I guess gas in lower left quadrant ....

I know I have to be patient ..... give it time .... just very relieved to see others in the same boat.

thank you for sharing.... better days to come

I stared feeling better at about 7 days now all i have now is oops bent over too far! Im day 12 post op now!

I am on day six and feel pretty good. I had a lot of the same feelings in the very beginning too. I still have some pain, but it gets better every day.

Hey guys...I was banded June 15. Today, I'm feeling better.. So far, the pain is gone and I'm able to move around. I keep myself driving Water or juice... I still have some gas but I try to walk around the apartment for bit until it goes away.

Today, I'm getting kinda hungry... I'm getting tired of the Clear liquids... But let's stay strong ! At the end we going to see great results!

Hang in there! It's a learning curve for sure. You think before surgery that you're prepared for the changes that lie ahead, but after it's done, and you have no choice but to go by the rules, it's kind of a shock.

I can tell you though, it does get better. Much better. I'm 4 weeks out and feel fantastic. The weight is coming off, I've figured out my eating routine, and exercise is becoming an addiction.

Day 3 for me and I have seen better days...Shoulder pain and lump in my throat are the worst

I am on day 7 a week ago wed. The first two days after surgery I had the worst throbbing headache that had me to tears. I figured after it was from lack of diet coke. It went away after about 3 days total. I have only been drinking protein drinks muscle milk, chicken broth, juice, and water. I have no cramping and diarrhea for the last 2 days. I called the doctor and they are having me come in tomorrow at 10 am. I am a little confused since I see that it seems normal from the message boards. I have the cramping in the middle of my stomach.

So glad I found you guys too! I was banded on June 14th, so day 6 post op, and don't feel very good. Mainly the gas pain and pain in my chest (under the sternum) and between my shoulder blades. Always feel like I have to burp and sometimes I do burp/hiccup and it hurts, so worried about my band slipping because of this, I'm not sure if that's a worry or not but I find myself worrying about everything. I'm lucky to get 8oz down a day plus some popsicles. I so want this to get better and be on my way to a good diet and weight loss! My stomach is still so bloated/swollen, wondering when this gets better. Have some pain when sitting/standing but not all the time. Trying to walk around as much as I can. Today was the first day I thought why did I do this? Guess I thought I would be much better by now. I see my Dr. tomorrow for 1 week visit.
