She said they were just waiting on medical clearance letter so I had to go see him AGAIN even tho I just seen him a month ago. Well when he found out I was having lapband he was being so dry. This a doc who usually talks to me and all. The he says 'so ur dead set on having this surgery huh' ???³ I'm like really brah?! This my dang insurance and co pay covering this not urs! • My primary doctor is the one who gave me the card to the bariatric surgeon and said why don't you check this out. I think he is more excited then me when the scale goes down, my PCP is the best!

Oh no yea find someone else you don't need negative energy on positive it's ur life not his

Sorry to hear that your primary doctor acted that way. I work at a primary doctor's office and when I started researching about my surgery he was very supportive. He told me everything he knew about it and assured me the risks were minimal. He's not my primary doctor but my doctor supported my decision as well.

Find another PCP, I agree with grandma3 my doctor was the one who told me i need to lose weight and told me about the Lap Band. I had heard of it before but i guess i never realized how big i was unitil my own doctor told me i was morbidly obese.
