Hi i Im in for surgery tomorrow (Sunday) and i.m a little concerned that i haven.t quite lost enough. I wasn.t given a special diet so been doing slim fast and trying to stick to 1000 calories but i.o still 4-5lbs short.

I won.t be refused will I?!

Honestly, no one here can answer that. Only your surgeon can. Perhaps call his office and ask before going?

I have been on a calorie restriction since I met with the doctor and the nutritionist to shrink my liver :wub:

for Lapband surgery in September 2012, she wanted me to loose 10 lbs. I have been working out-the journey is hard-keep it up.!

No you won't be refused, the docs just want you to lose something before u go in. Good luck with ur surgery!!! Helpful tip: bring a pillow with u for the ride home and keep it against your sutchers (sp?) it will absorb the shock from driving cuz if you don't, u will feel every bump in the road!!!
