I think I waited 2 weeks to add fish, tuna salad, chicken salad, sweet potatoes, eggplant, and soft cheeses.

At 8 days post I was still eating creamy soups, yogurts, puddings, jello, and refried beans. Best of luck to you!!

My doctor cleared me for that type of food at 8 days out (moved it up after seeing the esophogram)...

Not mime 4 weeks full liquid before mushies for 2 weeks then soft for 2 weeks then normal. 1 week away from normal food and having fill tomorrow so back to liquid for a few days x

I was banded on April 16 and I am on mushies stage until next Tues. I cannot stand puree food. I am doing protein shakes, liquids, jello, broth...

My doctor told me to wait 2 weeks after surgery

It seems there is no consistency to what our doctors want! Follow your own docs orders! I was cleared for step 2 foods (mushies) at discharge...

Yup! I was just like you! It is so hard for me though because I love to EAT! I was banded on 4/20/12 and right now it is soooooooo hard to exercise self control. I cannot wait to get my first fill on 5/21/12. :D
