April Bandsters!

Hey Ladies and Gents!

Having my Surgery done April 4th. Starting my Pre op diet tomorrow. They said Protein shake for Breakfast, small low fat/sugar lunch, Protein Shake for dinner until surgery. Any suggestions for the low fat/sugar lunch suggestions?

Im heading down to LA to get it done. They will arrange for me to be driven to and from there as I live in San Jose, Ca. My hubby is going to come with me for support. Hopefully they will give me enought pain meds for the ride home. Heh Woot! I'll be a Hollywood starlet by next summer haha!

So who else is getting banded in April? I could use a band-buddy for my journey!

I'm on the other side resting pretty comfortably in my hospital room. Not too much pain just taking it easy.

Glad your doing well.

Heading to the hospital to move to the other side, I'll let you know how it goes. I should be done and out of recovery by 10 central time.

waiting to hear how you're doing. Mine is tomorrow!

In approx 24 hrs I should be headed home, with a band installed. hmmm -

It is actually delicious...it tastes like a creamy potato soup!

potato soup? why didn't you say so, I'm there!! Will be making some this weekend.

Got my IV and a shot in my tummy for blood clots (wasn't expecting that) waiting to go into surgery. Thanks to all of you being there for this. See you on the other side.

yikes, shot in the belly? no bueno. Hope you're feeling OK now.

That is great. Glad all went well. Keep us informed. I'm T-65 hours and I'll be where you are.

Lisa-I am so happy everything went well-I am so happy for you!! My surgery is tomorrow & I am running last minute errands so I can stock the fridge/pantry with goodies for when I return. Also have about 6 loads of laundry to do-not sure when I'll feel up to doing it again.

Hi everyone- doing well except for gas pains and crappy yellow jello at the hospital. Can't really get comfy on the bed. Took a walk around that was good. Mouth is really dry. But no real pain.

NPO after midnight the night before. Be there at 11:15, surgery @ 12:15 - plan to be there between 3 and 4 hours.

Kinda gross, but also don't forget to clean your belly button... That is usually one of the incision sites. They will clean it for you also but I am amazed what comes out of it...
