If you can tolerate a sip, nothing tragic will happen. At my current fill level, if I take too big of a drink while eating, it will cause things to jumble up in my pouch and cause a stuck episode. Wit

It can also enlarge your pouch. You have food there that is blocked by the Band and can't go down, then you add liquid to it. The pouch will stretch. Not good over time...

Okay, so I have no problem with the water intake or the not drinking anything 15 minutes before meals or an hour after meals. However, what I do have a problem with is the scungy feeling I have on my teeth and my throat's need for something just after I eat. Can't I just have one sip of water to rinse out my mouth and throat after I eat? It's quite vexing and uncomfortable for me!
