  1. such dramatic results! Now my question is how many needed TT to remove the excess skin from the large amount of weight loss.
  2. Images added to a gallery album owned by BlueTattoo in Member Photo Gallery
  3. I'm just shy of a full 6 months by a few more days. But i was banded 12/30/2011 and i'm now down 36 lbs! it's been slow coming off but at least it's still coming off and not going back on!
  4. I had the fill on may 9. They removed .5 cc on the 16th. So I'm about a week and half out from the unfill
  5. Well I had Chinese food for lunch. Which is a pretty small portion bc I'm picking around the things I can't eat. I did well with holding down their chicken bc it was cut very very small and their grilled shrimp (3 medium shrimp) I chewed and chewed and everything stayed down and I was very satisfied. Which there is still enough for at least two or three more small meals. I remember when I could eat a full plate in one setting and now it takes me 2-3 meals to eat the same amount. I'm about 80 lbs from goal. I dunno maybe I wasn't chewing enough or maybe there are foods I just won't be able to eat again bc they are too tough to digest. We are in the process of moving. Hence why I'm eating takeout. I can't eat bread anymore and it is one thing I miss the most. Ty guys for all of your feedback. Maybe I should try different ways to prepare the meat to make it easier to eat and digest. I'm just so used to baking chicken or grilling chicken breast and keeping it super moist. So maybe I should chop or dice it up?
  6. Had a fill at the beginning of may. They gave me 2 cc in which I could barely hold down water. After a week I was finally able to get an unfill but she only took out .5 cc. Afterwards I was able to eat some solids but not much. I'm wondering if I'm still overfilled or if I'm maybe taking too big if bites or not chewing enough. But it's really uncomfortable when I eat. And if I eat chicken even if it's super moist I can only handle a few bites before I feel like I'm going to get sick. It's more of a stuck feeling. Slider foods go down fine but even those I have to eat in small portions or I get sick. I'm no where near 1 cup. I'm more around half a cup of food or even a fourth depending on the food. I also found after this fill I can't eat broccoli and I love broccoli. I have issues with pickles and apples too. I keep hoping that maybe I need to just chew more but I really do try to take small bites and chew a lot when it comes to solids like this. Should I schedule another unfill or just keep trying to eat and be more aware of my chewing habits ?
  7. I know I'm going to sound horrible but oh well! I haven't been excersizing that much. Just walking when I find time. Between work and kids I'm exhausted by the end of the night. But food wise I try to eat healthy. I eat more salads and soups and try to push myself to drink a protein shake in the morning. I eat two eggs for breakfast that has become my routine. I try to push for 70 g protein a day. But it doesn't always happen but I do make sure I stay under 1300 calories a day. I got over filled at my last appt and I couldn't get back in for a week. So now I'm at 5.5 cc in 10 cc band.
  8. Ty guys! I still got a long ways to go. But it feels great just losing what I have. The best feign was shopping for clothes and I went down three pant sizes and two shirt sizes!! I'm looking forward to when I can fit into size 14 or lower and not have to shop in specialty stores.
  9. Well there needs to be an edit button on this iPhone app.
  10. Lol 2011 lol. Delirious from the packing and dating boxes. Lol. Moving just south of Gainesville to a little town called Sanger.
  11. Well it's already hot as hell. I'd rather be in mass.
  12. Oh and I'm the one in black with the hot lips shirt.
  13. I had my surgery 12/30/2012 And I'm finally in the green zone. It's still hard to lose weight but it's slowly coming off! This picture was taken last night at my going away party. I'm moving to Texas tomorrow.
  14. hey guys, i was banded 12/30/2011! I'm down 33 lbs, i now have 6cc in my 10 cc band. it's been slow going with the weightloss. My doctor told me not to get discouraged it some times up to 6 fills to reach that sweet spot. I'm feeling a lil tight with this fill but i just got it today! We shall see if this puts me in the sweet spot or not! I have noticed that my portion sizes have gotten a lot smaller! I just have to remember to get that protein in! sometimes it's hard on my busy schedule and not being able to snack at work with protein snacks . and we get a 30 minute lunch break if we're lucky
  15. No not even the nurses said anything either. Now I know better. Lol.
  16. Well i had my first fill today! Woot woot right?! Well they gave me 2.5 cc in my 10 cc band.. things were moving along nicely til it was time to eat....well i decided to have grilled shrimp for lunch.. I chewed and chewed and uh chewed some more. I had 5 medium sized shrimp. My fill did not agree with eating 5 so i ended up slimming until i finally threw up a small portion of it. After that I was fine. It's definately a learning experience when it comes getting a fill with the band. I had adjusted to the plication and the band without restriction. Now it's time to adjust to having fills I know i need to listen better to my band , and when enough is an enough. I now understand what people say when they say "They are making the face". lol i saw myself in the bathroom trying to keep it down.. the face i was making was interesting lol. But now that i have my fill maybe i can kick into gear with the weightloss again!
  17. I went out with friends and we went to olive garden for lunch. They Do NOT honor the lap band card and will not let u order off the children's menu. I ended up getting soup. The only reason I went was because my friends went. I won't be going to the Olive Garden in Norman OK.
  18. i say post pics! I'd love to see before and after !
  19. Blueeyed- I'm at a 800 calorie diet and i was banded on the 12/30. i can eat anywhere between 1/2 to a full cup of food depending on what it is. I dont have a fill yet. My doc won't give me one til Febuary 21 Boo for it being so far away! BUT i did have plication with my band. To kind of jump start the weightloss progress (Tho i haven't seen any pounds drop after that initial 20) Today however I felt like I could eat the world but after a few healthy snacks and some shaved oven roasted turkey breast i'm satisfied. Some days I feel like i could eat more then i should but if i drink water first that feeling usually goes away.
  20. I would suggest talking to your nutritionist about how many calories to be on and how much protein. Cazzy said she was on 600 calorie diet , while I'm on 800 calorie. It all depends on weight/height/bmi and the nutritionist. Just for getting healthier before your visit to the nutritionist though stick with 1200 calorie diet. Make sure you are getting in your protein! It's the fuel for your body and go go go juice! (Besides caffiene!) LOL I would say veggies are a free be for now...until you talk to your nutritionist. I went with the iphone/computer app www.myfitnesspal.com To track exercise, protein, calories, ect. A few have tried Lose It! I haven't yet i've been content with myfitness pal. And there's quite a few of us that have the app and are able to look at each others daily food intake to get ideas. I hope this was somewhat helpful and good luck!
