One Year Ago Today

One year ago today I changed my life forever with this surgery. One year and 116 pounds later, I am healthier and happier than I have ever been. As miserable as those first few days following surgery were, when doubts were creeping in and I was mourning food - it was totally worth it. And I would do it again ten times over. All of it.

Whether you are just now starting your journey, are a few days post-op, miserable and questioning your decision, or now just maintaining, I wish all of you the best success that this tool can offer. What a difference a year can make!

I am just six days post op and yes miserable at times, doubting myself, and all that.

So your words are encouraging.

Congrats again!

I was banded on the 6th and your words are inspiring to me...

Thank you and Congratulations....

As I sit here eating my puree'd vegetable soup, you inspire me. I'm two and a half weeks post op. Congratulations!! :P

Yayyyyy!! Congratulations!!

I will be at my one year anniversary on 10/21 and agree with you a million times over! It was the best thing I have ever done... I would do it all over again, the postives by far outweigh any of the negatives. It's a journey and there are some days that aren't great along the way, but, at least for me, those days were few and far between.

Congratulations again! :)
