I have some film over my bandages and my nurse told me not to take them off until they are falling off LOL I'm like ok I had surgery on the 6th and this stuff is still sticky. WOW I go to the doctor on Monday to get my staples out. I have lost 2lbs since surgery! I get to eat mushy stuff today so I'm having a scrabled egg with a lil salsa (no chuncks) in it! Oh does it taste good.

How did you do it? Did you feel restriction? I am just mind boggled by it.

People can get mad at me for my opinion but here goes. I did get the band to change into a healthier person but I'm not going to give up having a beer or 2 at a get together. There are so many changes that I am making that once in a while not everyday I will indulge. Yep they're empty calories but I know that if I exercise a little bit more that day before hand or more the next couple of days it'll help.

I felt the exact same way and decided no matter what even if I decide I don't want 1 fill then I will use this tool to the best of my ability and understand that if I don't want it to work and make myself accountable for what goes into my mouth then I will not succeed. This is the last straw I will either make it work or I will be fat for the rest of my life!

My goal is on November 20th to walk the 35th Annual Turkey Trot/Run 5K!

I got Just Dance 2 for the Wii for Christmas and never got to use it cause of a shoulder injury. I'm so ready to break it out and The Michael Jackson Experience too! After reading this I want to go get Zumba. It is so much fun! My son and his friends crack me up when they do the Just Dance lol

I can't believe how good I feel this morning. This is only my 3rd day post op and not alot of pain. I am so happy to start this new journey.

I want to ride roller coasters Wear all of the cute clothes that are in my closet and probably out of date but may be back in style soon! Be a role model for my 12 yr old son and not let him make the same mistakes I have Wear some awesome cute clothes on vacation to Vegas next year!

I am so not ready for snow yet. I saw earlier that the midwest is in for a worse winter than last year.

I was banded on tht 6th too. I didn't have very much gas pain. But am sore. I had gained a couple of pounds after surgery but am trying to walk and still to take it easy. I know how hard this is but try to keep up beat. Everywhere I've read on here says that we shouldn't be worried about losing weight right now just concentrate on healing. Good Luck

I had surgery on the 6th and was feeling purdy good yesterday. Today I tried to eat a couple bites of yogurt. I'm not sure it's sitting well. I have been up and walking I was lucky and hardly had any gas pains!

Good Luck! I was nervous too and while I was getting prepped yesterday! Feeling really good this morning!

Was banded at 8a.m. this morning. Got to the hospital at 6 and was home by 1. I'm not having any pains just a very dry mouth. I am so lucky to have my 2 guys taking care of me! Hope everyone is doin well that got banded this week!

Thank you all for these responses. I have been so stressing about what I am going to eat. Due to the fact that I have a friend who had lap band done 3 years ago and she gets stuck on so much stuff. It honestly scares me. The support group even told her she needs to unfill a little and she said nope I like it. It freaks me out. I go in tomorrow morning. I am so nervou/excited.
