A reflection of a year!

Recommended Posts

Well people..... Today is my one year anniversary! I must begin by boasting.......I walk an hour a day (uphill one-half of the time..down hill the other) thank God! I also write everything down...I am now on my "lap-band journal #4". I probably don't keep the most accurate books, but I will say I have been loyal. Free days .....yes I've had a few....drunk days...yes I've had a few....fun days....yes I have had many, but most of all I will say exercise days! Mind you I really don't like it , but somehow it has gotten into me.....when it is summer it is 7:00 IN THE A.M.....In the winter, it is two times a day for 30 minutes! Wow that is crazy! The other thing is I was on a platue (which I learned how to spell really, really good) for about 3 months, did not lose a pound, but I went down 3 sizes.....as I sit hear in a lose size 14 heading on to 13 (by the way I am 5'9") I have to tell ya it has been worth every single second! Journaling, exercising, and eating to your height , weight, and age....make a huge diff......Happy Bandiversary to me! Peace out and party on.......!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
