not hungry

Hello, this is my first post.I just got banded on 6/13/11. I haven't been hungry since. How long does this phase last?

Congrats on your surgery! As stated above, everyone is different. I think anywhere from 3 days to a week seems common. For me it was about 4 days that I had a surpressed appetite. I then reached some restriction after 3 fills- about 2 and a half months postop. Hope you are healing well, keep us posted on how your doing.

Hello, this is my first post.I just got banded on 6/13/11. I haven't been hungry since. How long does this phase last?

Anesthesia is what makes me loose my appetite-everytime. It usually lasts about a week. I love it! LOL

I'm a little over 6 months out and I have only had 2 or 3 hunger pains since surgery, all of them in the last month and a half. I have to remind myself to eat at the end of the day :)

I actually felt hunger pangs the first day, and have since, but they haven't been so horrible as to cause me to eat too much. Being on mushies has helped curb them somewhat.
