Finally got EVERYTHING done. All Doctors appointments, psyc evals, letters, weight history, EVERYTHING. Now I have to wait on insurance to give final approval so I can set my surgery date! So come on already!!!!!

Hey Rick.... I'm very impatient too and I'm waiting for the surgeon's office to "reveiw" my file and submit to insurance for pre-authorization AND approval. I totally know the feeling and cant stand when they dont call back!! I know they are busy but just give me the status already!

I am also waiting for approval from insurance. I have been through all the testing. etc. I am so anxious. It has almost been a week. I need to pray for patience.

It will get here.......I did everything to get approved last year only to be told I had to wait until January....so I've been through this whole process to get approved almost 2 stinking years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally got my date today....THANK GOD!

I hear you...waiting on the insurance company was really hard. I am not patient to begin with....sigh....but hang in there, keep the faith and keep busy...it really helps!

I'm waiting on approval too. It took 4 months get get everything done now insurance is saying another 10-30 day URGGG............

I HAVE approval via a letter from my insurance in the mail...however my dr's office hasn't received their copy yet so I have been waiting almost 2 weeks for them to get it!! Grrr!! Best of luck to you!

Hi Rick.....im waiting too..for approval.....but my date is set for feb. 9.....so if I dont hear from them soon I wont know if I need to start my preop liquids....and I want to be able to let work know when I will be off....its driving me mad! I'll hang in there with you!

I am also waiting on the final approval of insurance and loosing patience, everything is done and ready however the pre cert had to be mailed to insurance would not take a fax or electronically, trying to be patient but its hard have to get done before Feb 28th my job changes and so does my insurance and will be without insurance 30 days....uuugghhh
