Would this be ok on pur?ed diet?

Hey guys. I'm on puréed/mushy food and wanted to ask before I tried. I was thinking about trying some chef boyardee mini raviolis in sauce. It's practically mush anyway but if I mushed it well with a fork and of course chewed well do you think it would be ok?

Im sure u will be able to handle the texture cause it is very mushy. I am not allowed that though because my dr said no bread, pasta or rice during this stage. if your dr didnt say no to those things then I think u will be fine

I wouldn't eat it. Not only is it pasta..it's canned and probably full of sodium, not the healthiest option. Maybe try ricotta cheese, pasta sauce, and some cheese baked. Much healthier.

yeah, pasta can be bad for you but I wouldnt want to eat canned pasta. When i have a craving for that kind of stuff I do what the last poster said, it may sound wierd but ricotta sauce and cheese maby with a little ground beef is a pretty good combo

I agree that it's not the healthiest choice. I have had some however and had no problem. If I eat something that I know isn't a real healthy option, I just make sure my other meals are healthy. I like the idea of the ricotta cheese, pasta sauce & meat.

The cheese abs sauce is wonderful but I've had it everyday for lunch and dinner this week lol. The raviolis have 190 calories, 5g fat, 7g protein. It's high on sodium with 920mg. I guess I'll eat chili or chicken salad.

I always check.....and yes it's the tiny child's size bowl. Serving size 1 bowl....

While I think it would be okay, I agree that it isn't heatlhy. Also, I have learned that things like that do not keep me satisfied. I am better off with dense Protein.

But it is tough during the mushies.......choices can be a challenge.

Well I'm not the doctor, but I just had my first "mush" meal, and I had scrambled eggs with bits of sausage in it. I'm completely fine. What I did notice, is that I got full much quicker than before! I'm not bragging yet though, bandsters hell is right outside my door.......
