I had surgery on 10/29. I feel fully healed except for a little soreness. I am hungry and when I do eat I can't really say if I have restriction. The only thing that is keeping me from eating is the scale showing how much weight I have lost. When I eat if I don't drink it seems like I don't get full, but they say you should wait 30 mins. the 30 mins I wait I finally find myself to be full. Did anybody else have this problem with your band in the beginning?:smile2:

What you are experienced is totally normal. You had swelling after surgery, that's why you weren't hungry. The swelling has gone down so your appetite came back. Feeling full 30 minutes after is normal too. They say it takes at least 20 minutes for the stomach to tell the brain it's full. Sounds like you are sticking to a good eating plan even though your hungry, keep up the good work!

I had surgery on the 29th also and my appetite just came back today with a vengance. I have been SO ZGOOD and done exactly what I was supposed to and now I am SO HUNGRY. First fill sceduled for the day b4 thanksgiving

Just because I love to eat Thanksgiving foods, and this is only me talking, but I would have the fill date changed so that you wont miss out on the Holiday. But if you don't care about that as much as I do then Good Luck with your fill I hope you get some feeling of restriction....
