What was for dinner?

I'm still on post op liquids and starving. Just wondering what everyone had for dinner? I would like to start planning some meals. If you could share some meal and or your favorite meals that would be great! Thanks :)

Durning my first few weeks post op I watched the food network all day just to see some good looking food wishing I could eat and to get some ideas once I was able to eat again. I wish you all the best!

homemade baked meatballs with bbq dipping sauce, they had instant mash taters and i had basically a baked tater with no butter or sour cream, just cheese and chives. can you tell i didn't really wanna cook? lol

I'm still on soft foods post-op, but I had 3 mushrooms stuffed with a low-carb artichoke jalapeno dip and a tablespoon of fat free cottage cheese to cut the heat.

I can't wait to have fish tomorrow. I suck at cooking fish, so even though I like it we never buy it for home, but now that it's about the only meat I'm allowed (at the moment) I'm giving it another try.

Just got the go ahead for stage 2 (week 2 post-op).

I had:

-1/2 cup oatmeal real watery with vanilla flavored Protein powder mixed in.(not too bad)

-1/2 a small sweet potato baked and pureed in my Ninja food processor with chicken broth and 1 tbsp. of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter.(Pretty tasty)

sugar free pudding for dessert

Anything is better than broth and jello!!

I had tomato soup and then some chicken breast with Peter Luger sauce.

:crying:

i want to eat

i'm still stuck on Protein and jello's until the 13th.

this part sucks just as much as the pre op stuff did

good ideas though and i'm looking forward to a small piece of chicken or a forkfull of mashed potatoes for goodness sake!

:tongue2:

Tonight was a bowl of chili.

Tomorrow I am cooking a pork roast in the crockpot all day so I will have pulled pork. This will be my first time trying it since surgery.

I had 3 oz ground baked skinless boneless chicken breast with shrimp sauce, 1/2 cup green beans mashed with fork and a whole boiled baby potato mashed with pepper and shrimp sauce
