Soon to be banded!

Hi, Have been visiting this site for a while, gathering all the wonderful info that is available here. Decided to have lap-band back in August and I finally got approval today from my insurance. Surgery is scheduled for Nov. 29th. I'll be on Optifast for two weeks before sugery, so no turkey for me this year. It will be great to have other bandsters to share this fanastic experience with.

Welcome to LBT and good luck on yur surgery. Keep us posted.

I'm one day ahead of you! Aren't you getting excited?? My doctor didn't put me any diet, but I am going to try to do all liquid for the few days before my surgery.

Hello Sissy- Best wishes on your surgery. I am so glad to see someone else who is going through the surgery about the same time as I am... my big day is Monday, November 21st!!! I am within 48 hours as I sit typing this reply.

I only know one person from my clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio, so I would love to stay in touch through this process. I was glad to find this website today and read about the experience of others. It is great to talk to people who are on the same path.

Have a great day and enjoy the liquid diet. My doctor gave us a 10 day liquid diet that we must regulate on our own. I kinda wish I had the optifast product to make life a bit easier... I have not cheated, but wish I could have had a simple shake to get me through each time I eat during the all liquid phase.

Amy:)
