Let me introduce myself!

I was banded in TJ January 21,2005 by Dr.Juan Lopez Corvala. To date I have lost 75 pounds although it has been quite slow lately. I have been attending curves for one month and things are looking up in appearence , but then muscle weighs more than fat. But I must confess I am haveing a problem with sugar cravings.:)

Welcome to LBT. I too was banded by Dr. Lopez in April of 2004. I have lost anywhere from 65 to 70 lbs. I am a slow loser. I have lost somewhere between 30 and 35 inches off my body. THat is an awesome accomplishment I think.

Yes, Muscle does weigh more than fat. Good luck on your struggles and post often. Lots here to read and catch up on.

Welcome and Conrats!

Rick

congratulations on your weight loss. To lose 75 pounds seems so out of the question for me right now-i am having a hard time envisioning myself out of the fat clothes!

Another Lopez patient here. Still currently portless & have gained 9 pounds of lard back. I feel gross even though I'm still down 65 lbs. I'm eating raw veggies for breakfast though. There's always a fresh start behind every sunset.
