Counting my pre op and the three weeks today since surgery. I've lost 25lbs!

A week out and im feeling awesome..... Down 25lbs in three weeks....so Excited!!!

Still at work......so much to do before being off for three days...Surgery at 0730 tomorrow, talked to Anesth. and surgery nurse, NPO at MN, drink lot's today.........does that mean lots of diet coke, tea, maybe a B52 for my nerves? Surely they don't mean WATER!!!

is out of the working out game for three weeks.. really aggervated and dispressed.. praying that overcome this hurdle that has been thrown my way..

How is everything going? I gain about three lbs. I get a fill Monday, July 20. I don't have restriction anymore. It has been 12 weeks since my last fill......I just wanted to check in and see how things are going.

Hi xavier, I have had three fills the first one was five weeks after my surgery. I kept eating the way we do slow any steady and on the fourth day after my first fill I was so tight I only ate about 2 tablespoons full of food at each meal. Then I could not eat any more. I always ate the protein first and sometimes that is all I could eat. I eat a lot of greek yogurt and eggplant with meat sauce. If you want I can give you the recipe for the Wendy's Chili. I eat that all the time. I usually put grated cheese and or sour cream on it as well. Tastes great and is easy on my band.

Hi Bobbie, I am doing okay. So far, I have had three fills; the last being under fluoro, I was a bit disappointed with that one, because my second fill, which was done blind was 0.5 cc. Then it was only 0.5 cc during the fluoro fill. So, I am currently up to 4 cc in my 9 cc band. Still not feeling restriction. I spent 7 weeks after surgery stuck at a 9 pound loss. I upped my cardio work outs to 45 minutes to an hour on the treadmill, going from 2.5 miles to 3 miles each time. So, I really believe this is ONLY why I am starting to lose weight. I am now down to 233.2. Surgery day I was 248.8. I have another appointment for another fill on October 5th, but am hoping sooner. I don't eat as much as I did preop, but I am still able to eat too much. I usually get hungry about 2 to 2.5 hours after I eat. So, hoping the next fill will bring me more restriction! Sorry I haven't been on here in forever.....life is chaos with three girls and being a working mom! How are you doing now? I just broke 56 lbs, so I am happy with that.

Hey my doctor was the same way. I did three weeks of soft liquids and then right to solid he just said chew chew chew lol no puree or really mushy food strange

OH MY WORD! I just got this. Sorry about that! how are you doing? I've had three fills and will probably have my 4th the last week of January. I'm down about 46 lbs. I've been floating from 43-46 for about 2 months. I feel great though and it's really doing it's job. Hope you had a nice holiday. Talk to you soon. Moe

No lol.. they gave me three weeks off! i am kind of going crazy at home so i am pondering the idea of going back on monday. the liquid diet does suck big time. i cant wait until its over. i was emotional too. i cried at the thought of not being able to use food as my comfort anymore. its a big change. i was emotional after too... but i have lost 8 pounds so that is cool!!! good luck you will do great

I had to change my surgery date to the 20th, because I got a new surgeon so I'm starting my diet on the 12th as well.

I have not been banded yet. I have my 2nd out of three supervised WL appointments next week. If all goes wel iI hope to be banded sometime in June.

I have about three more months to go before my paperwork can be submitted....

Home from the hospital and look like a human sausage. Three days of IV fluids and I'm so bloated it's downright painful.

I don't work yet. I took care of my mother for three years until she passed away in March and have been so busy doing probate and dealing with her stuff, I don't have time to work, too!

I am on day three now and am feeling way better, headaches are minimal and am not really hungry,, i just keep thinking of the big picture and the end result. Hang in there you can do it. good luck
