Really frustrated! I assume my body is in shock from losing so much the first to weeks, and adding the multi vitamin with iron didn't help, and the monthly visitor, but seriously, gaining a pound??

So - hormones have totally caught up with me 7 weeks post-sleeve. I'm a raging lunatic today.

Well it is 6:47 AM here on the east coast and today I start my 2 week journey of only liquids prior to surgery. Went to see my Dr. yesterday he said everything looks great and was very confident with my surgery. he also said that many Sleeve patients have nausea for three days after surgery. He gave me a script to take 1 pill before I leave that morning and 2 more pills 1 for each day after, said that they were a bit pricey, when I went to the pharmacy they were $328.00 so I neglected to purchase them. I contacted the nurse and she said don't worry they would give me something in the hospital in I was sick. Were any of you very sick that made it had to drink?

In my mind I'm not going to be albe to eat the food I used to love in the quanity I used to love to eat it in. I know I did this sugery for a reason and I dont regret it for one moment but I do miss what I was able to used to do

Creeping, creeping, creeping toward Onederland......an average of a quarter pound per week.......so slow.....working on patience....will eventually get there and to my goal. Just wish it was more like a half pound a week average.

@Djmohr -- I feel your frustration and agree---a break would be nice....to show a loss without creeping back up even just a little.

For the past few weeks, I've had a hankering for a peanut butter cup, and have managed to resist buying any every time I've gone shopping. The combination of peanut butter and chocolate is a favorite even though I'm not a choco-holic. Recently I've learned about PB2 powder and have found a recipe on Unjury that just might satisfy this craving and still have more protein and good stuff than bad stuff. I just ordered some PB2 to try. Will let you know how the peanut butter cups turn out.

Still losing, after a stall for the last week I'm back in the swing. I want to lose 10 more pounds before Thanksgiving (that will put me in One-derland!)

If you're week 5 and beyond and you're having issues with keeping food in comfortably, try Prilosec. It worked wonders for me.

Week 5 has been the best one yet! I am able to eat all kinds of foods now, still slowly but it's made a huge difference.
