  1. I think my surgery will be in November. I'm doing it at UCI in Orange. You?
  2. I'm moving along pretty quick though I don' have a date yet. I had my seminar on 9/21 and I have my second consult appt on the 26th when they will submit to ins. They tell me it is about a 1 week turnaround for approval and then I get a date. So, I should be in mid-November.
  3. The upper GI is not bad. I was scared too. I thought they would be putting a tube down my throat for some reason. But no, it's just take a drink, swallow, xray. You even get to watch. It's a breeze. The drink is a bit like unsweetened frosting.
