Hi Kellie...I was banded on the 19th. I've been very luck. The only pain I really have is where the port is. The muscle is real sore. I do have a hard time getting the liquid and protein down. It does getting better every day. Hang in there. Good Luck.....Dooney

Hi sonny....I understand what you mean about getting in calories and protein. I'm having a hard time too. I feel pretty good just really sore. I have a hard time sleeping at night. It's hard to find a position that is comfortable. Good luck. Dooney

Today is day 4 post op. I'm feeling pretty good. The muscle were the port is hurts a little but other that that I'm pain free. I'm trying my best to get all the liquid down but don't always do it. I'm looking forward to shedding the pounds.:smile2:

I'm feeling the same was. I get banded on this coming Tuesday. I'm so excited but scared too. I have been on the pre-op diet since the 12th and have lost 6 lbs. Good luck. :thumbup:

Had my pre-op appt. Started my 2 protein shacks and 1 low carb high protien diet in 10/12. So far so good. I do real good for breakfast and lunch but I'm starving by dinner.....:thumbup: I hope I can do this.

Well my band date is Oct 19th. I'm starting to get butterflies. I know this is the right thing to do but it's so scary. I start my liquid pre-op on Monday. Wish me luck.......:frown:

I too am getting my band done on the 19th. I have my pre-op appt. on the 13th. I was told I didn't have to do the pre-op liquid diet but I'm going to start it on Monday. I think it will help me out in the end. Good Luck and God Bless..... -
