Today is day 4 post op. I'm feeling pretty good. The muscle were the port is hurts a little but other that that I'm pain free. I'm trying my best to get all the liquid down but don't always do it. I'm looking forward to shedding the pounds.:smile2:

That is wonderful that you are feeling pretty good. Truthfully, I felt like crap on day 4. I think part of it was my attitude on the liquids.LOL I did have a hard time as well getting everything that was requied down. However, once I started my journal, it was a lot easier. Good luck!

Hi Dooney

I am six days post op and feeling good! Minimal pain now, the only pain i have is mainly due to me naturaly sleeping on my side and rolling over in the night.

Am sick of the liquid though and am totally craving some soft food like scrambled egg or porridge! I am realy struggling to get callories and protein in as i don't really like milk. Am surviving on yoghurt, milky coffee (but not enjoying) and some home made soup (blended of course).

Look after yourself and stay positive

Hi sonny....I understand what you mean about getting in calories and protein. I'm having a hard time too. I feel pretty good just really sore. I have a hard time sleeping at night. It's hard to find a position that is comfortable. Good luck.
