  1. I am having a hard time deciding whether or not I should tell people when they ask. I work in a large office in which my team knows as well as my boss. I am lucky they are all very supportive, but we all know no one really understands unless they have gone through it. Did you guys tell? Also, I am now 22 days out from surgery and lost 17 lbs only the last 5 days I have lost 0 and I am so disappointed. I have had 600 to 700 calories a day and all my Protein and nothing. I feel like I failed the band already. I see everyone's stories and so many are so much further. They started around the same weight and were banded the same time. Either way I am very happy I did this. I am certain it saved my life. :smile2:
  2. I have to admit I am HUGE fan of water, ice tea, crystal light....etc...you name it I drink ALL day long. This is especially evident when I eat. Why can't we eat and drink at the same time? I was told over and over ago no, but not the "why" part. I have been banded for three weeks and now with the mushies part I still am sneaking in something to drink when I eat, not near as much as I used to. Anyone know why?
  3. I am three weeks out and was wondering if a glass of red wine would be bad? I drink socially which means rarely and we never have it in the house. I was at an event and wanted just a glass, but didn't since I wasn't sure the damage I would do. How long did everyone wait before their first glass?
  4. Each day since surgery I have tried to walk at least 30 minutes a day. I got bored with that and now ride my bike or do the elliptical. I want to try pilates, I was banded 9-10-10. Anyone think pilates and the stretching is too soon?
