  1. hi, so far the only ones that I have told are a few close friends of mine, my husband of course knows. My two oldest daughters know but my youngest I haven't said anything to. I don't think I will say anything to anyone else for awhile because I don't want to hear any negative.
  2. Hi everyone, I need some advice. I need to have a hysterectomy done soon. My doctor is letting me decide when I want to have this done as I have been dealing with this problem for some time now. I have been thinking about getting the lap band done first and then getting the hysterectomy done last. The good news is I don't have to be cut on to have the hysterectomy. My dilema is on whether or not I should tell the other doctors about the band and vise versa. Any suggestions on how I should handle this?
  3. I am. How about you? I am excited. Contragulations on your appointment with your surgeon. I hope all is going well and things go smooth for you!
  4. Thanks. I did find out already that my insurance doesen't require a diet history. My surgeron did give me a paper to have filled out by my family dr to get my weight for the past five years, just in case the insurance does want something like that. Do you have to do the pre-op liquid diet?
  5. hi banders! My name is Angie and i am looking forward to getting banded soon. I am hoping to have mine done by next month! I hope to be able to get some helpful hints and tips from everyone! I look forward to chatting !
  6. this may sound like a silly question, but does everyone have to do the pre-op diet?
  7. Hi everyone! I am shooting to have mine done in October. It looks good so far. I have to go next week for the dietician and pyschologist. After that all i have left to do is a follow up with the dr and wait for the insurance to give the green light. I am excited and nervous all at the same time.
  8. I go next monday on the 27th to see the dietician and the pyschologist to get ready for my surgery. I am excited and nervous at the same time. My question is after I see them how much longer does it take before we can schedule the surgery. I am looking forward to getting this done before Halloween if possible.
