  6. P.S. Had to rejoin the new site by adding a extra "n" to my user name as it would not let me post under my old name. Renee

  7. How are you doing Lillie? I finally have my surgery date - Dec 22! I'm excited, scared, nervous and not sure what else!

    size 18 20 needed

    No I'm in the US
  9. As for me I was probably didn't really focus on eating until around a month. When I did eat I only ate a few small small bites and then pushed it to the side. I think that fluids are very important to help with healing and how you feel. Just eat a few bites and do what you can do.
  10. I am now in a size 18 20 and looking for some clothes. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  11. Hi Renee. Nice to get a message from you. Thanks for the encouraging words. I am here if you have any questions.

Just wanted to say you are going great! I joined the board about the time you were having surgery and read your posts often. I am finally getting my surgery date (probably Nov 10) and am trying to gear up for this life style change! My starting weight is about where you were on your surgery date so have followed your progress. You are doing great!! Hope we can stay in touch, I could sure use some advice from someone who has been there!! Take care and keep up the good work!!!

  13. I made a promise to myself early post op that I would not look at the scare but once a week ... period no excuses. That seemed to help me alot. Even when I hit a stall it was easy to see that I lost .5 pounds instead of not losing anything or maybe gaining. Our body's really do go through alot during this surgery and healing. You have to allow the surgery to work, just follow the guidelines and you will see results.

    What is WRONG WITH ME???

I had a very hard time with food the first 1 to 2 months post op. Nothing sounded good and I didn't want anything but I wanted to eat good stuff. It's a very confusing time for your body. All I can advise is to ride the roller coaster ride that you on right now and when it does come time for food remind yourself that you are not going to be able to eat that much. Enjoy the taste of the food instead of how much. Also remember you are still healing and eating solids wont feel the same right away.

    monthly cycles....

I am on birth control pills and by cycles have been either right on time or they have been crazy here there and every where depending on how much I lose.
