I'm a 36yr old mom of two babies. I decided I needed to be around longer for them.  I didn't want them growing up with the Fat mom.  I also didn't want them to have to hear any fat mom jokes from other kids.  I want to be able to run, play, care for my kids the way they deserve.  I want to be a positvie role model for them but with all the extra weight I couldn't be 100% the mom I could be.  The weight was always in my way.  So i decided to have the Lap Band surgery and I go in for it on Oct 8, 2010!
