Hey Newtaby2011..... I am getting banded on August 23rd and my doctor wants to have a liquid diet for two weeks. I can not stand the protein shake. I have fallen off the wagon and need to get back on!!!
I am inspired that you are able to hold on and go through with staying on track!!!
I am going to try again today.... I wish you all the best and keep me posted. If you need to chat feel free to write me. I am on the same road as you at the same time. We could support each other!! God bless!!

I am pre op as well and so nervous. I am going for my operation on August 23rd..... I am so scared and I am thinking of backing out. I wish you the best and please keep me informed on how the surgery goes and how you are doing.
I pray that all goes well and God is on your side all the way!!!

I had my endoscopy on 9/1 and it was not as bad as I thought it would be. The doctor gave me pictures of my stomach. I have to go to the nutritionist and then I will wait for my insurance to approve it and I too will be banded!!!
please share more of the pre op experience with me.

Don't give up!!! Look for another Dr..... this BMI is crazy either it is too low for the surgery and NOW it can be too high?
Don't give up because you can NEVER give up on YOU!!!! I don't have the band yet and don't know when because I have seen everyone but the Nutritionist........ I know that when I go to my appointment I will pray before going in.
I am going to pray for you as well.... Sometimes strength does not come from inside.... It comes from a greater power and I will pray that the great one touches your spirit and gives you hope!!

Cardio is the key to your stomach going down...... Some people have weak muscles in their stomach and it is HARD as heck to get these muscles to behave.
I have had three personal trainers and they all say the same thing!!! Don't give up!

I had the surgery August 23rd and prior to the surgery I spoke with my doctor about my bipolar medication and the lap band. He told me not to worry.
I am taking my medication like normal no crushing or anything.
Since the surgery I have been in a great mood. I don't weigh myself unless I have an appointment. I don't want to rock my mood boat.
