I am with you on this problem! Also taking Biotin and getting plenty of Protein. I have blamed it on anesthesia during two small surgeries I have had this past year. (one on a sore hammer toe and on a broken wrist from a fall on the sidewalk.) I also was told it would grow back. I don't feel I can get a perm as maybe the harsh solution would make it all fall out. I've read during this past year of many others having this problem. . . . what is the solution?

I'm with you on not running my mouth to everyone about my decision. I've had my lapband for a few years now and I know a friend always watched what I put on my plate and commented if I took a small second helping at a picnic. My son & daughter-in-law were not 100% in favour of my having it placed and finally I told them to "zip it up!" I have never been sorry I have it and would not give mine up for anything. -

Good that everything turned out okay. We all (including the surgeons) have an off day now & then. Hopefully not many, but I've learned not to jump too quick with my replies. Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and lots of leftovers!

:wub: I am a 7 year bander, a WW2 navy vet's spouse and have a grandson in Afghanistan right now. So I say "It's a special day to remember our Veterans and pray for those still in harm's way.

Well done. My grandson is in Afghanistan now and I'm a saying, "Thank you is appropriate." He has a wife & 3 children and good job waiting for him when he comes home in February. These guys are always in our prayers!

Any Happy Bandsters Out There With 5 or More Years Of Banding?

Mary, I started a message to you and it vanished. Let's start a "Over 5 Year Banded Support Group" to help those of us who are trying again. Okay? When I sit down with my coffee in the a.m. I'll add my 2 cents worth, as I am in "no more loss zone" and I'm 80 + years. I drove miles to my Bariatric Center two weeks ago and they just smiled. When we get over a certain age we are supposed to just vanish I guess. Or they think, "Be happy you will soon be gone!" :wub: Joanne -
