  1. Slow moving

It's been awhile since I logged on. My journey over the last few weeks have been really slow-- like 1 lb per week. I go in for my 3rd fill on Nov 9-- I am so excited and looking forward to it.

I just need to get more motivated, be strong and move it!....
  2. Okay--- finally can sleep well.... I am feeling much better today. The ability to sleep right through the night was awesome. Learning to deal with eating mushy foods is okay... better than just liquids. Real test begins tomorrow when I go back to work... Fast past---non-stop and a holiday.... mmmm
  3. Big Difference

:thumbup:OMG--- what a big difference one day makes! I finally got a good night's sleep. Woke up feeling full of energy and well rested. Tomorrow I go for my first post-op visit--- excited. Can't believe it's only been a week.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!
  4. Tired and Uncomfortable

Okay-- last night was so uncomfortable but I made it through the night with maybe an hour sleep. Everytime I moved I could feel like as if something was in my rip cage. Reminded me of when I pregos with my children. I am not a back sleeper so that makes it worst. I always sleep on my tummy or side---even the recliner didn't work last night.... lol oh well as the saying goes no pain no gain... so no complaining--- suck it up and move on as it will past. lol:thumbup: Hope you all have a wonderful day and journey. I am still learning and adjusting to mine. I think I'm going to attempt to walk a little more today.
  5. Ready to move around

Wow--- can't believe it's only been 4 days and I am still really tired. Does anyone else have or experienced the same thing? I thought I would be full of energy but rather I have a headache. I am belieiving it's due to me not drinking coffee which is one of my biggest bad habits. So I am trying to stick it out. Any suggestions?
  6. Feeling better

Feeling so much better---not as gassy or nauseated as I was the last two days. The Gas X stripes and Milk of Magnesia works really well. I am trying to walk around more to get my tummy in balance. Just got to keep pushing forward to this wonderful experience and weight loss...:scared2:
  7. Start of a new life!

    :scared2:
Got banded yesterday, 8/27/2010--- so today I start my journey on my weight loss of 100 lbs and a better healthier life. I have all the best intentions but am just nervous of failure. Being that I had to pay for this operation out of my own pocket, I am more focused and disciplined. I look at this as my last resort for weight loss. I am thankful for a supporting family and want to be around for a long time.

My strength and limitations will be pushed with me being an emotional eater but I guess I am going to have to find another outlet to place my frustrations and emotions... like walks or exercise.

    Wish me luck
  8. First week

Walked walked walked and walked more today--- only because I had so much to do. But I did have my first visit with the Dr. after surgery. Everything going well- I am now on mushy foods... yeah me... First fill Sept 23-- looking forward to it. Keep pushing forward all!
