  14. Greg, As someone who lost 254 before surgery and a total of 351.6 overall, neither way is easy. It requires hard work, dedication and perseverance. Best of luck!! Should you ever want to chat, please message my FB page. Just mention I sent you there from BP. All the best!! This is a thread I posted a few weeks ago; http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/386049-transformation-tuesday/
  15. I have a plank app on my Android phone that I use that goes over the different types of planks there are. I started off doing knee planks in 1 minute intervals for three sets. Then I would move to the traditional plank set and try to go at least 45 seconds to 1 minute intervals for three to five sets. (Traditional plank is where hands are up in like a push up stance but shoulders and back are flat straight. Then forearm planks are like the same as traditional except that you are on your forearms instead of straight up with open palms down on the ground. Those I do for 45 seconds to a 1 minute intervals for three to five sets. Finally raised hand/leg planks are the hardest ones for me to do and I tend to do those in two to three interval sets for about 15 to 30 seconds each. Appreciate that!! What's the name of the app? I have an Android too.
  16. What's your planking routine?
  17. Lost 132.4 in 2016. Total loss 346.6. Going to kick the crap out of 2017!!!
  18. Still trudging along here. Started at 688+, lost 84.2 pounds post-op, 338.8 total. Surgery 7/2016.
  19. Need advice, anything I can do to maximize weight loss? Seem to be all over, one week 5 pounds down, another week 1, another week 3, then 1, then down 6. Any tips to stabilize it? Just curious.
  20. Thank you!! As a guy who started in the mid 400s. I'm trying to see if my pace is good. So surgery was 7-6-16. Here are my stats based on each Saturday weigh in; 7/9: -8.2 7/16: -9.0 7/23: -2.8 7/30: +0.2 8/6: -5.2 8/13: -4.4 8/20: -3.2 8/27: -4.4 9/3: -0.4 9/10: -4.6 9/17: -4.0 9/24: -0.8 Just wish there was some consistency. My calories are around 900-1200 daily. Carbs, less than 50g daily. Just thought I see some more 5 pound loss weeks in there. Surgeon follow up on Monday, going to see what he says about maybe improving these weekly numbers. Thank you!!
  21. Guys what was your average weekly loss?
