I had burning under an incision...after my c-section I had terrible burning for over two weeks, I think it's normal.

I found out yesterday morning that my BCBS of Ga insurance had an exclusion for bariatric surgery/drugs so I will NOT be having any weight loss surgery now. I went through a day of feeling sorry for myself, crying my eyes out and just being depressed and mad at myself for letting myself get to this point. When my husband got home, he hugged me, told me to get dressed and we hit the gym. This morning I went for a mile walk, I will NOT let this little stepping stone get me down any further. Now to find a low carb, low fat diet I can stick with and I will be okay. Good luck to all of you on your journey!

I'm Pre-op also, my surgery is scheduled for August 12 and I remember being so excited and two hours later I cried for about five minutes. I haven't cried since, but today buying Vitamins I had that stress feeling in my neck, so I know what you mean. I'm just trying to push through and keep going toward surgery.

My revision was yesterday. I feel pretty good with very little pain. Not hungry at all just concentrating on drinking so I can go home.
My doctor did say that I had a lot of scarring but said he was able to do the sleeve pretty easily. Now on to recovery!

Had my 3 month check up today. Down 46 pounds with 10 inches off my waist and 5 inches off my hips (those are the only measurements they took before surgery) Feels great! I know it will only get better if I trust the process and start exercising like I mean it!! lol

I got 60 grams of Protein six days post-op, hooray!

Are you ever really excited and then an hour later, you're like, "can I really go through with this" or "what am I getting myself into"? I just want to know if I'm alone.

M surgeon did some type of leak test while I was still asleep, I swallow the stuff tomorrow for another leak test and then I get liquids, yay! Very minimal soreness and I don't think I have any gas.
