  1. Yes I do the same thing. Mostly after I eat I can hear and feel the food moving down into my stomache. HAHA My kids think it's funny. I've learned to ignore it.
  2. Thank you. I had that today. I put a towel around me and it actualy fit. Yes!!!! It felt so good!!!
  3. I have limited money and was wondering what is a good cheap multi vitimin? I was getting Optisourse from Walgreens but it is expensive. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
  4. what is NSV. boy do I feel stupid.
  5. Banded on 7/21/10. I have lost 35 pounds also and am feeling all the same things al you all. But today i was getting in the shower and put a towel on before hand at it finally fit ALL the way around me. YAH. Now that's what I'm talking about. Sometimes I get so upset and feel like I'm not losing and then something unexpected like that happens and it makes my day. We all need to give ourselves a little more credit.
  6. Thank you> I wish they would have put more info on there web site. Maybe they did and I couldn't find it. I'm not as worrierd now. Thanks again!
  7. I have this band and can't believe it's a voluntary recall. WTF. So if you want to fix it do you have to pay for it and you have to surgury again. I am not a happy camper!!!:cursing:
  8. I know how you feel. It is really hard to start a new eating habit, but for all we've put our selves through it's not worth it!! Keep up the good work. It does get easier.
  9. I had my band put in on 7-21-10 as of about a month ago I have a lump about the size of a golf ball a little above my port. I asked my doctor about it when I went in a month ago and he said not to worry. But boy it's starting to hurt now and I feel like I have a stitch in my side. I wonder if he left something in there, haha. I go in on monday but am starting to worry. Any ideas to calm my nerves until monday? thanks:confused:
  10. Hello, I got banded on 7/21/10. Just a day before you. I also have lost 20 pounds. Yeah for us!!! I eat chocolate. I know I'm not supposed to. I am like you. I haven't eaten (Meals). I was a snacker. It is so HARD to break bad habits. But I am doing way better than before. When I read your post I was like "that's me" haha. We will do it. We just need to get used to this new process!!!
  11. I have a Relize band I don't know if there is a letter after it but my doc told me it holds 11 cc. Have 4 cc in so far. Just got my first fill.
  12. Hey, I got my first fill today to!! It wasn't bad at all. My Dr. went in were the scar is so didn't feel it. He put in 4cc. Was going to put in 5-6 cc I told him I would feel more comfortable with 4cc, he said O.K. Told to do liquids for 2 days. I am bummed about that but will listen. I didn't listen to my stomache and threw up the extra chiken and veggies I ate. Not a pleasant experience!! I have lost 20 pounds. I am so happy. I haven't lost 20 pounds in years, And this time it will stay off:biggrin:. Good luck. Let me know how it went.
  13. I am 6 weeks out and I am having a hard time with food choices. I didn't make good choices before banding and still have bad eating habits. Any suggestions???? By the way I love this site. Everyone is happy and funny. Thank you!!
  14. Hi, I had my surgery on 7-21-10. I sometimes 2nd guess myself on it, but have lost 16 pounds so that part is good. I think I would do it again, but I'm still new at this. I can tell you if you are an emotional eater be ready for the struggle that you have after, by not being able to eat when you want and what you want. I sometimes eat to fast or a little to much and am still getting used to this. It has been hard but I keep reading posts and learn from them and it has helped alot. I can't wait to loose more weight. One more thing I also feel the struggle I'm havin to relearn food is way better than being fat forever!!!!
  15. It's not so much that I make my self burp, but when I feel just a little bit like I might I try to get it up. If that makes sense.
