    How is your progress?

Hi ladies - I was banded 10/18/10, I have 3cc in a 10cc band, my doctor is ultra conservitive. I have lost 64.8 pounds and feel AMAZING... I work out about 4 times a week, Zumba, weights and Water aerobics - I am loving it. My eating is pretty tame, low low carb, high Protein - it works for me. I'm happy everyone is doing so well
  5. Everything went very weill. I have lost 44lbs since Oct. Just had my 3rd fill and I can hardly eat anything so I am losing quite rapidly now.

  6. thanks for adding me I see you were banded in Oct. and you seem to be doing well so I thought I would reach out :)

    lapbands and relationships

So I'll take it from a different angle... It's totally a girl thing... Your girlfriend sees you go from 315 cuddle bear to a 188 hottie and is incredibly scared that you are going to want to find another girl that "fits" in the worlds eye of BF/GF. Women are far more emotinal that men, we are insecure if our underwear don't fit the same way twice. Her comments about "the other girls" are fish hooks - she wants you to come out and say " this is all for you babe", and truely make her feel like she is your #1. Her gaining weight as you're loosing it, is probably emotional eating - again, because she is scared of loosing you. I think the best thing you can do is sit her down and tell her how you feel, take her on a special date - get all glamed up (both of you) and really tell her how you feel. BUT.. and this is a HUGE one - if you aren't still in love with her - DO NOT LEAD HER ON.... this will wreck havic on her for the rest of her life...

    Outrageous Octobers

I can't belive what being sick does to this band. I've had a cold for about a week, a been on my DOT for like 4 weeks. Talk about tight. I didn't loose anything 2 weeks ago, went in for a fil last week, and finally lost 4.4 pounds last week. This take some major getting used to. How is everyone doing. I know this new layout take some major getting used to, but lets hear it. UPs Downs anything. Support makes the different, it truly does.

    When will it end!!

So I have PCOS - and have since I was 17years old. I have never had regular periods, at most 1 a year, and that one was "normal". So to my suprise, I started my period - which wouldn't have been such a big deal, but it's been going on now for 5 weeks!!!! KILL ME NOW... But really - did anyone's cycle change DRASTICALLY after surgery? Should I be concerned, or what....
  13. Banded 10/18/10 lost 9 pounds pre-surgery 36 pounds total. Very excited about my progress. Sounds like everyone on here made a great descision!

    MONDAY Weigh-In

Yahoooooo..... Today I weighed myself after a long week of "no no's" - not bad ones, but a few to many carbs and probably bigger portions than I should have. I had self soothed the fact that I might NOT loose weight this week. I was okay with it, because I had told myself that I would just get back on track and work harder and loose more this week... right.... WELL..... I DON"T HAVE TO!!!! I lost even when I wasn't trying as hard as I have been. I LOVE THIS BAND!!!! Last Weeks Weight 228.8 Current Weight 224.6 Down 4.2 pounds Did I mention I LOVE THIS BAND!!!!

Where are you at??? October 2010 Bandsters

Fluffy - i'm so sorry you lost your grandma, I'm sure that had a lot to do with where your at now. Greif is a big player. I hope things turn around for you soon. To answer your questions; How are you doing with weight loss? Great.. I've been sucessfully looking weight each week. 32.8 Total; made it through thanksgiving happily to say. How are you emotionally? hit or miss... I think that somedays are good, and somedays are very not good.... More personal refletion; than diet related. Are you exercising? Yes, treadmill and eliptical. BUT.... again hit or miss... Usually about 3 times a week, sometimes if I'm really doing good 6, but thats been about 3 of the last 7 weeks. What is your daily routine? Eating: B-Protein shake, S - yogurt, L-protein/starch, S-cheese stick or protein, D-protein/vegi then after work I work out first thing when I get home if I dont', then i don't want to What has been the easiest thing so far? Suprisingly.. The eating... I've been really good at portion's (for the most part) - I have over eaten a couple times, but learned my lesson. No Vomiting or PBing, thank good. What has been the most difficult? lack of support from my husband..... Only with time..... All will adapt....
