  1. That is EXCITING! I know I was excited when it happened to me! Keep up the HARD WORK I KNOW you are putting in!~
  2. I was banded on July 21st, and as of today, November 5th, I am down 40 pounds since day of surgery (not including pre-op weight loss fyi). But I must say I have followed a textbook diet and worked out faithfully 4 days a week since July. I am not being "coy" when I say I just don't see the weight loss in the mirror, but I do seeit in my clothing, and of course the compliments from others make me feel good. Right now I think my last fill was too tight and I'm trying to ride it out before going back in to have it loosened. The feeling I get when eating anything is awful though I will say. Just my experience....
  3. This so happened to me too! I had a fill, then an "unfill" two weeks later, and then a fill again two weeks after that. Told them I felt like a flake BUT the doc was really cool and said it's all about telling them what you are feeling, it IS your body after all!
  4. I had my surgery on Wednesday July 21st. Today it is Sunday evening, July 25th and I've lost 7 pounds. I haven't felt hungry at all, until late this afternoon. It's all about getting in the necessary protein shake(s) for me. How is everyone else banded on similar dates doing? Would love to hear your stories...
  5. My surgery date is tomorrow July 21st! Would love to connect with others banded at same time to track the journey, etc. I'm in San Diego. The pre surgery diet of clear liquids only for five days has been hard, but I'm doing it! Thank goodness for my Premier Nutrition protein shakes, the only kind I like.
