  1. It's normal for you to still feel weak. You just had major surgery. Just try to get some rest when you can. Hopefully this feeling will go away soon. As for the itching, I just dealt with it. Yes, it drove me crazy. But I was worried about what I could use. Sorry I cant be more help
  2. I'm sorry you have to deal with that. It really sounds like HE'S insecure... and, while I don't know him I would almost bet it would only get worse as you have the surgery and start to change. I believe that WLS can make a good relationship, better. Or a rocky one worse. It just depends on the people. Sadly enough
  3. Good luck to the both of you! Congratulations
  4. YAY! That's so fun. My husband jokes like that with me all the time. Except my rings are too big! So now I wear them on my middle finger and he said if anyone tries hitting on me to give them the finger and say It's from my husband! LOL! Congratulations!
  5. I hear "Skinny" a lot. Like "Hey, Skinny!" I love it!
  6. that this feeling will soon pass? I have NEVER had much issues with my time of the month. It was never really regular, but it never caused pain or discomfort. But, since surgery that's changed. Especially in the last two months or so. It's super painful and uncomfortable. Not to mention super heavy. (Sorry!) I had to come home early from work today because I felt so bad. I know I've lost a LOT of weight in a LITTLE bit of time. But, this does stop at some point right??!!? I feel so bad complaining because I know some people get it REALLY bad all the time. But, to go from one extreme to another is a bit much. =/
  7. I heard some insurance companies do require that for VSG. IDK why. But, my insurance company allowed any WLS (band, RNY or VSG) if you met their requirements.
  8. I absolutely love MINI goals. I actually just suggested to my support group last night , that BEFORE surgery you should sit down and come up with a list because after surgery things can happen so rapidly that things may pass you by. Some mini goals I've had is to weigh less than my husband, then my brother (I've always been the BIG big sister! ) Most recently it was to lose 2 pounds because those suckers wouldn't leave.... they finally did and brought me to a 100 pound loss. Uhm, next goal is to fit into a 16. I can't wait. After that it's a 14, then ONDERLAND! CAnt wait
  9. Like it was said, it's all about changing things up.
  10. I had a binder when I woke up and I'm so thankful.
  11. I'm thankful for... my new chance at life. This has really been an eye opening experience. And, I am so thankful. feeling my age. I'm only 24 but I have always felt older. I can do things that are normal for my age! For my family/friends supporting me. Being comfortable with self as a person. Feeling beautiful. I seriously could go on and on.
