  1. I just can't buy a goal outfit. I want so badly to. But, size wise I have NO idea what to even get. So it makes me nervous. Therefore, I have change I'm saving and a gift card so that I can go try on a bunch of outfits and find one I love.
  2. I'm sorry for all that has happened. But, at least things are rolling again! I say TRY IT ON! What can it hurt? It'll be fun. And, you may be surprised.
  3. Welcome Congratuatlions and good luck!
  4. Yay Irene you are getting so CLOSE!! I'm up for any date. I love the extra motivation I have 7 pounds to go for my goal
  5. That's such a great experience. I get creeped out by the band, even though I once considered it!
  6. Not everyone gets the card. I read a lot of places aren't doing them. But, you can tell restaurant people and see if they will help with pricing. Or, you could just order a smaller order. Anyway! Congratulations on your success.
  7. Radiant. I am just so excited for you
  8. You look like a totally different person! Congratulations on the weight loss!
  9. I bet you'll be in that dress soon enough.
  10. Haha, Thanks. I'm only 24. I've learned that when I was younger, everyone thought I was older. And, now I'm older EVERYONE thinks I'm younger! Oddly enough!
  11. I know. It's so funny. Before I was so excited when we were SO close... and now I get more excited the farther we get.
  12. Welcome! You found a great place to ask any question imaginable! My sleeve surgery was my FIRST real surgery (other than my wisdom teeth removal) And, I didn't have any real issues. As for not losing, everyone loses at different rates so you may be a quick loser, or you may lose slowly. But you will lose if you're following the guidelines set! good luck and congratulations
  13. I considered my day of surgery day 1 post op. But, like mentioned aboved, it varies based on what you think! I just assumed day of surgery is what counted because on the 20th of every month I'd be yet another month post op... I think it's a good question!
  14. I only had to be on Clear liquids for two days. So I didn't use a lot. If any actually, I didn't care for it. I used other stuff like Jello. Sorry I couldnt help more.
  15. Since you're still pretty early out, I'd definitely space them out! I had to do that in the beginning.
  16. Congratulations on your date
  17. Congratulations on your date! Sorry about all that has gone on!
  18. I have been wondering the same things. I am so close to losing 100 pounds... so I will try to answer your questions as best I can! Will my personality change? The only change in my personality is that I am more confident. With the extra confidence I think I have become more friendly to strangers, and more open to be the silly person that I am around people I already know. Will I become a weakling? I don't really have a lot of experience with this. Will I recognize myself when I look in the mirror? Some days you will, some days you won't. But, it's an adventure! I never was a fan on the mirror, but now a days I find myself WANTING to look in the mirror. It's not that I'm conceited. It's that I like what I see a lot MORE than before. Will I become an ego-maniac? No. Will I still be a people pleaser? It's up to if you let yourself. I will agree with Irene. When I was heavy, I was a big people pleaser. Now, I am doing things to please MYSELF! I'm not worried about anyone else. What will change besides my size? Confidence. Feeling comfortable in your own skin to try new things.. the list could go on. Where there any suprises for you when you lost the weight? There was a million. Nothing bad.. always good. Things that I didn't think about when considering surgery. Such as WANTING to wear a dress, wearing shorts in public... little things that used to be BIG things to me. Are things different than you thought they'd be? They're better than I thought. I say it all the time that I think I love my sleeve a little more each day. It's incredible. I am so thankful I had it! If there was one thing you wish ppl would have told you about ahead of time, what would it be? I wish I would of known how great it feels to be COMFORTABLE in your own skin... but, no one can really tell you that.
  19. Around the 3rd week, it's normal to start stalling. It'll get better! hang in there.
